How do I apply to public housing? / 公営住宅に申し込むには？

Applying for Prefectural Housing Osaka Prefectural Housing conducts an application process about twice a year. On every occasion, new pamphlets are created and distributed at municipal governments in Osaka Prefecture, prefectural tax offices, housing administration offices, prefectural government annex building and the Osaka Prefectural Housing Administration Center. The period for application is about 1 month and tenants will be determined by a lottery. Foreign residents who meet the following categories can apply for prefectural housing: An applicant needs to find a guarantor by his/her own, and needs to be able to complete all process in Japanerse. (1) Japanese national or registered foreign resident (2) Live or work in Osaka Prefecture (3) Currently live with family member or members and will continue to do so after moving into public housing (4) Have an income not exceeding the limit for public housing tenants set by Osaka Prefecture (5) Can obtain a joint guarantor on the lease agreement |
府営住宅の公募は年2回ほど行われています。募集の度に募集用パンフレットが作成され、府内の市役所、府税事務所、住宅管理事務所、府庁別館、及び大阪府住宅管理センターなどで配付しています。約1カ月の募集期間があり、抽選後入居が決定されます。外国人の方も下記の様な条件を満たしているなら、申し込みできます。
入居希望者は連帯保証人を見つけ、全ての手続きを日本語で行う必要があります。 (1) 日本国籍を有するか、あるいは外国人登録をしている人 (2) 大阪府在住か、府内で勤務している人 (3) 現在同居している家族がいて、入居後も同居する人 (4) 入居条件の年間収入を超えない人 (5) 保証人1人の連署が得られる人 |
| Public housing complexes are available in many places throughout Osaka Prefecture. There are many in areas near Osaka University, including Suita, Toyonaka, Ibaraki, Minoh and Ikeda Cities. The rent for public housing varies, based on the income of each tenant. Tenants are selected by lottery. You can apply for public housing as often as you wish until you win the lottery. Once tenancy is permitted, tenants can stay in public housing so as long as all aforementioned requirements are satisfied. | 大阪府営住宅は、府内の各所にあります。本学周辺の吹田市、豊中市、茨木市、箕面市、池田市にもあります。家賃は所得により異なります。申し込み後、抽選が行われて決定しますが、抽選に当たるまで申し込みは何度でもできます。いったん入居が許可されれば、入居条件から外れない限り何年でも住むことができます。 |
