| International students often experience difficulty in finding a guarantor when renting private housing in Japan. To reduce the mental and financial burden on one who is asked by an international student to become a guarantor, and to make it easy for international students to conclude a lease agreement, Japan Educational Exchanges and Services provides Comprehensive Lodging Insurance for International Students. |
留学生が民間住宅などに入居しようとする時に生じる保証人探しの困難さと保証人となる人の精神的・経済的負担を軽減し、留学生が円滑に住居の賃貸契約ができるようにするため、（財）日本国際教育支援協会が住宅総合補償制度を運営しています。 |
| This program comprises comprehensive lodging insurance (lessee liability and personal liability insurance) and guarantor indemnity funds. The premium is very affordable: 4,000YEN for one year or 8,000YEN for two years. You may apply for this program at the administrative office of your school/graduate school. |
この制度は、住宅総合保険 (借家人賠償責任担保特約・個人賠償責任担保特約付) と保証人補償基金から成り立っています。保険料などの負担金は、1年加入で4,000円、2年加入で8,000円と大変安く設定されています。加入手続きは、所属部局の担当係で行ってください。

| Housing Rent Joint Surety Program for International Students of Osaka University | 大阪大学留学生賃貸住宅連帯保証制度 |

| If an international student cannot find a surety needed for concluding a private housing lease agreement, the Department of International Affairs will become the joint surety of the student under this Program. |
民間住宅に入居しようとする留学生がどうしても保証人を得られない場合、大阪大学国際交流オフィスによる連帯保証を行う制度です。

| International students who are officially registered at a school/graduate school of Osaka University (including inter-college auditor, special research student and research student) and who participate in Comprehensive Lodging Insurance for International Students offered by Japan Student Service Organaization are entitled to the benefits of this program. |
本学留学生（学部学生・大学院生・特別聴講学生・特別研究学生・研究生）が対象で、日本国際教育支援協会の「留学生住宅総合補償」への加入が義務づけられています。 |
| You must obtain the approval of your supervisor before applying for this Program at the administrative office of your school/graduate school. |
申請に際しては、まず指導教官の了承を得た上で、所属部局の担当係に申し出てください。

| Osaka Prefecture has developed and provides a standard form of lease agreement so that international students can conclude a lease agreement without anxiety, and to make it easy for them to find a guarantor. Because it contains the standardized terms of a lease agreement, it is easy to understand, and an agreement can be concluded without anxiety.If you want to conclude a lease agreement using this form, you must be a participant in the Comprehensive Lodging Insurance for International Students offered by Japan Student Service Organization. The form is available at the administrative office of your school/graduate school. |
民間住宅に入居しようとする留学生が安心して契約できるよう、かつ保証人が見つかりやすいように、統一様式による賃貸借契約書が作られています。統一様式なので契約内容がわかりやすく、安心して契約できるようになっています。この契約書を使用して家を決めようとする留学生は、日本学生支援機構の留学生住宅総合補償への加入が義務づけられます。契約書の用紙は、所属部局の担当係に備えられています。
