* Prepare an emergency kit that you can carry out on your back, like in a backpack, so that in a disaster you can still use your hands. * Think about the family structure and don't over pack. * Check on the supplies at least once a year. * Men should aid for the bag to weigh less then 15kg, while woman should try for less then 10kg. |

Try and set aside convenient food that does not need to be heated. * Prepare things like caned goods (and a can opener), instant ramen (cup of noodles), biscuits, dried bread, and chocolate. * Pack things like Alpha Kome (Rice that you eat after just adding hot or sometimes cold water.) vacuum sealed rice, cut up mochi, and/or seasonings. * Check on the food at fixed periods and supplement the supplies. |
