In Japan, natural birth giving is the most prevalent method, where if there are no particular problems or requests birth is given naturally. If you have special requests, you should get advice early on.

日本では自然分娩 (出産) がもっとも一般的な方法で、特に問題や希望がない場合は自然分娩となります。希望がある場合は、早めに相談しておきましょう。

Natural Birth	自然分娩
Basically, this can be done at any establishment (even at home). Depending on the establishment, you may be able to give birth in a position that you like. People who have had a Caesarean section may not be able to do so (depending on the establishment).	基本的に、どこの施設でも (自宅でも) おこなうことができる施設によっては、好きな姿勢で出産することができる帝王切開の経験がある人はできないことがある (施設による)
Painless Birth	無痛分娩
This method is not very common in Japan. The establishments which handle this are limited. An additional fee will be charged.	日本ではあまり一般的でない扱っている施設が限られている追加の料金がかかる
Caeserean Section	帝王切開
As a general rule, this is only done when medically required. (This can also be requested) Insurance can be used (if the procedure is requested, insurance can not be used). A vertical cut is the norm.	原則として、医学的な適応があるときのみ (希望すればできるとは限らない) 保険が適用される (希望の場合は適用されない) 縦切開が一般的
