About the Interpreter Volunteer System at the Five Prefecture-established Hospitals / 府立５病院における通訳ボランティア制度について
| At the five hospitals established by the Osaka Prefecture (emergency/general medical center, breathing equipment/allergy medical center, psychological medical center, lifestyle center, and general maternal medical center), the following interpreter volunteer systems have been introduced so that foreigners who do not understand Japanese can feel comfortable receiving medical treatment. | 大阪府立の5病院 (急性期・総合医療センター、呼吸器, アレルギー医療センター、精神医療センター、成人病センター及び母子保健総合医療センター) では、日本語を理解できない外国人の方が安心して治療を受けられるよう、下記のとおり通訳ボランティア制度を導入しています。 |

* Conduct acceptance of interpreter volunteers who translate during examination so that the proper medical treatment for foreign patients who do not understand Japanese can proceed smoothly. * In the situation a patient requests interpretation, or the primary doctor deems interpretation necessary, a list of registered volunteers at each hospital will be consulted to find a volunteer who matches the patient’s language and examination time will be selected and requested to interpret at the next examination time. |
* 日本語を理解できない外国人の患者さんに対して、適正な医療を円滑に提供するため、診察時に通訳ボランティアの受入を行う。 * 患者さんが通訳を希望された場合、または主治医の判断により通訳を必要とする場合に、各病院において登録リストの中から患者さんの言語や診察日時などの条件に合うボランティアを選定し、次回診察時に通訳を依頼する |
