For example, you can attend International Exchange Program courses with international students from the Osaka University Short-Term Student Exchange Program (OUSSEP). International Exchange Program courses are available every term and any Osaka University student may register, and receive credits for this class, although the credits may not be graduation requirement credits, depending on your faculty.

例えば、「大阪大学短期留学特別プログラム (OUSSEP)」の留学生と一緒に、英語で行われる「国際交流科目」を受講してみてください。国際交流科目は毎学期開講されていて、阪大生は誰でも受講登録し単位を修得することができます（ただし、学部によっては卒業要件単位とならない場合があります）。

There must be international students in your regular classes as well. Making efforts to communicate with these people is also another way to prepare yourself for abroad studies. There are international students who are fluent in Japanese, but what is important is not only to communicate in English, but to be able to state your opinion, listen to the other persons' opinion and try to understand one another. Communicating with international students will give you an opportunity to reflect on your thoughts on studying abroad.

You could also communicate with international students one-on-one by becoming an ""International Student Tutor"" through the Liberal Arts and Sciences Organization or each department or laboratory. The tutor system allows Japanese students to help international students in terms of studies, research, the Japanese language or even daily problems. Tutors will receive monetary compensations as well. You could also meet international students at the international student center, consultation offices at each department or by registering as a volunteer.

他にも、全学共通教育機構や各学部・研究科で「留学生チューター」になって、留学生とマンツーマンで交流することもできます。チューター制度は、日本人学生などが留学生の学習・研究・日本語指導や、日常生活上の世話などをして、特に来日後間もない留学生の環境適応支援にあたる制度で、謝金も支給されます。 この他にも、あなたが留学生と出会える場として、留学生センターや各部局の留学生相談室などで、留学生と交流したりボランティア登録をすることもできます。
