2. Organizations accepting formal exchanges / 正規留学の受入れ機関

While there are many private organizations which mediate or introduce education abroad opportunities, they are mostly language training programs. There are limited programs which provide education abroad opportunities at regular universities. However, it is possible to receive credit for coursework done at a foreign university other than one that has an exchange contract with another. The groups presented below are organizations which provide this sort of regular education abroad program.

留学を斡旋・紹介してくれる民間機関は多数ありますが、そのほとんどは語学研修を斡旋するものです。正規の大学での留学を前提としたプログラムは限られていますが、大学間の協定に基づく交換留学以外にも、海外の大学で正規の単位として認められるような学習をすることは可能です。こうした正規留学プログラムを提供している機関として以下のような団体があります。

It’s possible to study at an American university, including Ivy League and other famous schools, for a year while enrolled at a Japanese university. A certain degree of English proficiency and academic record is required to attend an American university as a regular international student. Besides this, there are a number of scholarships you can apply for to study abroad for a year.	このほかにも各種の奨学金を使って、1年程度の留学をすることも可能です。
