4. Internship / インターンシップ

Working while studying abroad is an important experience for anyone who is considering working in an international corporation or organization in the future. Here, a few overseas internship programs among the internship programs which are offered by non-profit organizations have been selected for their public utility and are introduced.

海外で働きながら学ぶことは、将来、国際的な企業や組織で働こうという皆さんについては、貴重な体験になると考えられます。ここでは、海外でのインターンシップ・プログラムを実施、運営している非営利機関のうち、公共性の高いプログラムをいくつか紹介します。

(1) AIESEC	(1) AIESEC (アイセック)
A Non-Profit Organization comprised of one hundred and seven countries and areas which is offering overseas internships for international students. There are twenty-four committees in Japan, including one at Osaka University.	世界107の国と地域で、海外インターンシップを運営する国際学生NPOである。日本では24委員会があり、大阪大学にも委員会がある。 (大阪大学委員会のページ)

(2) IAESTE	(2) IAESTE (イアエステ)
An international non-government organization which mediates international internships for engineering and agricultural chemistry students. Active in Europe since 1948, in Japan it has exchanged more than 5000 students since 1964. Osaka University is also one of the maintainer schools.	理工系農薬系学生のための国際インターンシップを仲介している国際非政治団体。1948年以来、ヨーロッパを中心に活動しており、日本でも1964年以来5000人以上の学生を交換してきた実績がある。大阪大学も維持会員校のひとつである。

(3) Japan-U.S. Community Education and Exchange (JUCEE)	(3) 日米コミュニティーエクスチェンジ (JUCEE)
Primarily targeted at affiliates of non-profit organizations in Japan, it is a group offering internships fro non-profit organizations in California. After receiving their training, you can work with the staff of participating organizations and learn the management techniques and various efforts of American non-profit organizations.	日本のNPO関係者やボランティアを主な対象に、カリフォルニアにあるNPO団体で実地にインターンシップをおこなっている団体。JUCEEが官発したトレーニングを受けたあと、受入団体のスタッフをともに活動して、米国NPOのマネージメントや各種の取り組みを学びます。
