| Professor(3 years or 1 year) In the case whereby the party engages in research on a paid basis in accordance with a contract with OsakaUniversity. (excluding activity as “Professor”) |
教授(3年又は1年） |
| Researcher(3 years or 1 year) In case of activities to engage in research providing income on the basis of a contract with Osaka University . (excluding activity for Professor) |
研究（3年又は1年） 大阪大学との契約に基づいて研究を行う活動（「教授」の活動を除く。）で報酬が伴う場合 |
| Cultural Activities( 1 year or 6 months) In the case whereby the party engages in academic activities without an income at Osaka University for a period exceeding 90 days( Living expenses support will not be regarded as income.) |
文化活動(1年又は6ヶ月) 大阪大学において報酬を伴わない（滞在費支援は報酬に当たらない。）学術上の活動を行い、その活動が９０日を越える場合 |

留学(2年又は1年） 大阪大学で教育を受ける場合 |
| Dependent(3 years, 2 years, 1 year, 6 months or 3 months) The spouse and children of those authorized to reside in Japan under the status of Professor, Researcher, Cultural Activities or College Student. |
家族滞在（3年、2年、1年、6ヶ月又は3ヶ月) 上記「教授」「研究」「文化活動」｢留学｣の家族(配偶者または子)として日本に滞在する場合 |
